DIYYA
Who we are:
DIYYA was establish in September 2011 by local women in Lye in response to a lack of activities for South Asian families and the wider community. Embedded within the local community, DIYYA has a deep understanding of the lived experiences of marginalised women who often fall out mainstream service provision.
Often described as the "net beneath the net", DIYYA works with women facing multiple barriers including social isolation, language barriers and low confidence. Our work promotes community cohesion and supports women to access opportunities in a safe, culturally senstivie and inclusive enviroment.

Our mission is to create a happy, busy and thriving community hub where all the local people feel welcome, supported, active and involved, and are able to find the fuel for the day.
Our mission is to work with local people and partners to provide opportunities for people to be happy,healthy, confident and build a thriving community together.
Our Aims:
* Secure long-term funding to sustain and Develop DIYYA.
*Deliver high-quality activities and support for women, children and families in Lye.
*Increased engagement among marginalised women through culturally sensitive provision.
*Work in partnership with local organisations and venues to meet community needs.
*Build organistional sustainability and capacity to support long-term impact.
