🐍🦎🐢 Our ‘Animal Man’ visits DIYYA’s Saturday Special Children’s Club! 🐇🦔🦜

For many of our children, this is a rare and magical opportunity to see and experience these incredible creatures up close and personal. ✨

For some families, experiences like this simply wouldn’t be possible otherwise due to the high cost of trips and activities. 💔

At DIYYA, we believe every child deserves joy, opportunity, and a place where they truly belong. 🤍

In areas where families may face deprivation and disadvantage, children can often experience isolation, limited opportunities, and fewer safe spaces to simply be children. Our Children’s Clubs help bridge that gap. 🌈

We provide a safe, welcoming, and affordable place where children can socialise, learn, laugh, and build confidence. 🤝💫

A place where friendships are formed, smiles are shared, and no child feels left out. 💛

These sessions are more than just activities — they are a lifeline for many families, helping to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, and strengthen our community. 🏡🌿

Our clubs are local, accessible, and rooted in care, ensuring every child, regardless of background, has the chance to enjoy meaningful and memorable experiences. 🌟

Because this is where it all began 15 years ago for DIYYA…

⭐ Our forever loved and most popular service — The Saturday Club. 🥰

A place of belonging.

A place of opportunity.

A place to simply be. 💚

🌸 Ladies Only Business Workshops – Highlights 🌸

We had a fantastic session at our Ladies Only Business Workshop, bringing local women together to explore ideas, build confidence, and take positive steps towards self-employment and entrepreneurship.

The session provided a safe, supportive space for discussion, learning, and shared experiences. Participants explored business ideas, asked questions, and gained practical guidance on getting started — all while connecting with others on a similar journey.

These workshops are part of DIYYA’s ongoing commitment to empowering women through learning, confidence-building, and community support.

🌟 Our Commitment to Children and Young People 🌟

Our organisation DIYYA has a long-standing commitment to delivering high-quality activities for children and young people (15 years.) 👧🧒 Through a wide range of provision, including youth clubs, holiday clubs, educational trips 🚌 and outdoor recreational activities🌳. We consistently place the safety, wellbeing and development of young people at the heart of everything we do ❤️.🤝

We are uniquely well-placed to deliver this work due to our strong local presence and deep understanding of the challenges facing families in our community 🏘️. There is a clear lack of affordable and accessible provision for children and young people locally, particularly during school holidays and outside of school hours 📆. As a trusted organisation, we respond directly to these gaps by offering inclusive, safe and engaging activities that support physical health 💪, emotional wellbeing 😊, social development 🤗 and confidence 🌱.

🌈 Our Impact💪👌

Investment in our organisation is an investment in children and young people. With the right resources, we can continue to reduce inequality ⚖️, support families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and provide safe, enriching spaces where young people can thrive and reach their full potential ✨.

✨Happy New Year from DIYYA ✨

As we welcome the New Year, we would like to thank everyone who has supported DIYYA over the past year — our community members, volunteers, partners, and supporters.

We look forward to another year of connection, learning, and community-led activities, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next.

Wishing you and your families a year filled with health, happiness, and positivity.

✨ Happy New Year from all of us at DIYYA ✨
